Who Is The BBC?
Read about us here

I'm thinking of joining but haven't decided yet

You can join us at one of our monthly club meetings or join us for a ride.

I am interested in joining, but my schedule may not permit attendance of the monthly evening meetings. Do I have to attend one to join?

You do not have to attend the meetings to be a member, you will hopefully be kept up to date with our monthly newsletter, and group rides that you may be able to join. We also have an email disucssion list for the general membership, and a special yahoo! groups web site for the racing team.

Are any 2004 kits, or other years available currently, rather than wait until January for the current orders?

To buy a jersey you must be a member of the club. We don't have any clothing left from previous years, this stuff sells out quick! However, we usually over order, so if you did not get a order in in time, you can contact our clothing guru to reserve one of the overstock from the next order that goes in, which will be January. The best thing to do though is to ask other BBC members if they have a spare to lend.

Does your club have a women's racing team?
We do have women racers, and we have in the past had terrific teams. Come and attend a club meeting to discuss ways to meet your goals with out women members. With over 35 people at our meetings, chances are good that you will meet someone who would be excited to train and race with you.

Are you still doing the Midway Shelter Criteriums in Alameda?

We are getting numerous requests about the Midway Shelter Criterium series this summer, and are pursuing this series for 2005. If you have an itch to race this year, the NCNCA Feed Zone has a comprehensive list of races in the area. Links to the NCNCA Feed Zone and other sites (like the Hellyer Park Velodrome) are found on our "other links" page, linked in the left hand menu bar of our site, directly underneath our club sponsors. http://www.berkeleybike.org/sitelinks.html
