THE PINOLE TEAM TIME TRIAL

2005 Course, back by popular demand. Two Person Teams Only!!!

Under USCF/USAC Rules and Permit

Location: From Orinda (Hwy 24) 2.4 miles west on Camino Pablo to the San Pablo Reservoir Boat Launch (Old San Pablo Dam Road); turn right and follow the service Road 1.5 miles to parking lots. From I-80 take San Pablo Dam Rd. east. Exit 8.9 miles at San Pablo Reservoir Boat Launch (Old San Pablo Dam Rd.) to Boat Launch and parking.

Drive carefully on the service road as riders will be using it to warm up!

Course: Registration at San Pablo Reservoir Boat Launch. Start is on San Pablo Dam Rd. West 5.1 miles to right turn on Castro Ranch. 2.4 miles to right on Alhambra Valley. 2.7miles to right on Bear Creek Rd. 6.4 miles to finish on Papa Bear. 16.6 miles with 3 climbs and 3 fast downhills. Categories and Start: Two Person Teams Only : Elite 1/2/pro, Elite 3, Elite 4, Elite 5 Women 1/2/pro, Wmn 3, Wmn 4, Jr., Coed and Tandem. Masters combined ages 70+, 90+, 110+ and Women 80+. Field limit 150 teams. First team off at 8:00 am. Starts at one-minute intervals. All teams must be pre-registered. Start times will be grouped by category.

Entries : $35 per team (2 person). Pre-Reg mail-in must be postmarked by Mar. 18. Send fee with standard USAC entry form to: PINOLE TTT, C/0 BBC P.O. Box 817 Berkeley, CA 94701. Make checks payable to: BBC. OR : Register online at: www.bikereg.com until Mar. 22.

Riders of different categories can team together, but in the higher category. No refunds for missed starting times or lost partners. No refunds. A 2005 USCF license or one-day license will be required.

Prizes: $100 cash plus merchandise to P /1/2 and W P /1/2. $60.00 cash plus merchandise/gift certificates to 3 places in other categories. $40 to fastest time of the day. Timed by second rider.

We will post start times on our website by Friday (3/24) evening. Registration opens at 6:30am.

Please Note: No warming up on San Pablo Dam Rd. Do not cross the finish line unless you are finishing. All USCF rules apply. No unofficial follow vehicles. Obey all traffic laws. ONE FOOT ON THE GROUND TO START. ANSI approved helmet required.
